In a remote mountain area, a monk and a taoist live next door to each other. The monk (played by Wu Ma) is easygoing and cheerful, and he has a lovely female disciple named Jingjing (played by Li Lizhen); the taoist (played by Chen You) is stern and strict, while his disciple Jiale (played by Qian Jiale) is mischievous and playful.
