Young Charles (played by Charlie Cox) joins MI6 after leaving the army. While undergoing basic training for espionage, he is instructed by his superior to make contact with Soviet diplomat Victor Koslov (played by Andrew Scott). Victor reveals some disturbing truths about Charles's father's past. The film has a runtime of 90 minutes, airs on BBC2, and is a television movie. It is based on the novel 'Legacy' (2001), set during the Cold War period.
