In the near future, memories can be read everywhere. One day, a boy dreams of a golden Buddha statue, so he approaches a girl and offers clues, hoping to leverage her intelligence and connections to uncover secrets and find treasure, in order to provide a place for his family to live. What he thought would be an easily obtainable fortune unexpectedly spirals out of control, evolving into a conflict between technology and human identity. This treasure hunting journey that traverses dreams and reality narrates the concept of karma in Buddhism regarding good and evil, while simultaneously highlighting various social issues arising from Cambodia's rapid economic development. Cambodia has recently developed a growing variety of film genres, and this film combines science fiction with Southeast Asian aesthetics and philosophy. Produced by Sok Visal from "The World is Not Enough" (17th edition), director Jake Wachtel from the United States has rooted himself in Southeast Asia and made a significant impact at international film festivals with his directorial debut.
