The girl Ida, who lost her mother in a car accident, was adopted by a distant relative whom she was not familiar with. Ida, who was ignorant of the world, soon discovered that her aunt and cousins were criminals, and when they needed money, they would illegally demand it through violent means.This film is the debut work of female director Janet Nodal and was selected for the Panoramic Unit of the 70th Berlin Film Festival.Through the low-key and steady performance of the heroine Sandra Goodberg Camp, the entire work draws sympathy for its imperfect, unhealthy family.Although the ending is not like the bloody and cruelty of ordinary gangster films, the director's examination and understanding of the hidden vulnerability in modern families is still worthy of attention.
