Due to the invasion of Chucky the doll, Nika Pierce (played by Fiona Dourif) is seen as the one responsible for turning her niece Alice into an orphan, and she herself is diagnosed with a mental illness and confined. After some time of treatment, she is allowed to move to a facility with a slightly lower level of care. However, her peaceful time does not last long, as her niece's guardian, Ms. Valentine (played by Jennifer Tilly), unexpectedly visits and not only brings the devastating news of Alice's death but also brings Chucky the doll to Nika's side. On a stormy night, heartbroken Nika slits her wrists. But when she wakes up the next day, she finds that the wounds on her arms have been stitched, and the words 'NOTSOFAST' are written in the blood on the floor. The evil Chucky will never allow his prey to die so easily...
