December 1941. Pilot Nikolai Komlev successfully executed his orders, tasked with destroying a German tank column heading to Moscow. However, Komlev's plane was shot down by enemy fighters, and he miraculously landed his Il-2 attack aircraft in a desolate forest clearing. It seemed that the worst was over; he had survived an aerial battle. Yet, the real test was just beginning: the wounded Komlev had to traverse an incredible path, overcoming frost, pain, and hunger, staying away from wolf packs, and evading Nazi special forces who would stop at nothing to find him. The pilot was fueled by the will to survive, courage, and, of course, love: Olga was still waiting for him to come home. Her image warmed him, driving him forward to escape. He had only one chance to survive, to return to his beloved, to soar into the sky once more, and to achieve victory.
