Chen Haonan (played by Zheng Yijian), Shan Ji (played by Chen Xiaochun), and Chao Pi have been friends since childhood. They are not interested in studying and long for a life in the martial world. Eventually, they are taken in as apprentices by a big shot in the underworld, known as Boss B, and begin to wander the Jianghu. During a gang feud, Haonan showcases his fighting skills and kills the gang leader Ba Bi, thus developing a deep enmity with another boss, Liang Kun (played by Wu Zhenyu). Liang Kun schemes to harm Haonan, resulting in the tragic death of Haonan's brother Chao Pi, and due to a misunderstanding, Haonan ends up in a relationship with Shan Ji's girlfriend, leading to growing resentment between the brothers. Feeling disheartened, Haonan plans to give up, but unexpectedly, Boss B's entire family is killed, his own store is burned down, and the relentless pressure from Liang Kun pushes Haonan past his breaking point.
