Zhao Yipeng (played by Simon Yam) is an honest and straightforward person who follows the rules. One day, his boss Chen Tianxiong (played by Yuen Biao) asks Zhao Yipeng to escort a large sum of five million to the bank. What Zhao Yipeng never expected was that he would encounter robbers on the way, and the money would be stolen in an instant. Both Chen Tianxiong and the police believe that Zhao Yipeng staged the robbery himself to embezzle the public funds, leaving Zhao Yipeng no way to defend himself. As a result, he not only lost his job but also had his hard-earned savings taken away by Chen Tianxiong. In his anger, Zhao Yipeng kidnaps Chen Tianxiong's daughter, Chen Qianru (played by Chingmy Yau), demanding a ransom of ten million from her father. On the day of the ransom delivery, an accident occurs, and Chen Tianxiong shifts all the blame onto Zhao Yipeng. By coincidence, Zhao Yipeng rescues the endangered Chen Qianru, who listens to him explain the events and feels great sympathy for him. Later, a series of unexpected events lead Chen Qianru to understand her father's greed and cruelty. Disappointed beyond measure, she joins forces with Zhao Yipeng as they turn into a pair of vigilantes, rooting out evil and wrongdoers.
