Sister Zheng (played by Zheng Yuling) returned from Hong Kong with her work achievements being highly recognized by her superiors, earning a promotion and taking on the training of officers alongside her psychic assistant Ah Sheng (played by Zhang Jianting). On the other hand, Uncle Wu and his nephew Ah Xiong (played by Li Zixiong), who is a police officer in Hong Kong, came to the mainland for a family visit. Ah Xiong unexpectedly encounters a murder case at the hotel he is staying at, where he is compelled to stay by Sister Zheng, who arrived to investigate. Busy searching for Taiwanese spies, Uncle Wu meets a group of con artists. Abandoned by his family, Ah Xiong stays at Sister Zheng's home under witness protection. Sister Zheng, who has a good impression of Wu Weiguo, secretly develops feelings for Ah Xiong, but is unable to interact with him normally due to pride.
