Jasper (voiced by Jason Schwartzman) is considered the worst student at the Postal Academy, stationed on a frozen island within the Arctic Circle, where the locals hardly communicate, let alone write letters. Just as Jasper is about to give up, he finds an ally in Alva (a local teacher played by Rashida Jones) and discovers Klaus (Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons), a mysterious carpenter who lives alone in a cabin full of handmade toys. These incredible friendships bring laughter back to Smyrna and create new stories filled with generous neighbors, magical legends, and carefully hung stockings on chimneys.
