During the Cold War, Bruce Banner (played by Eric Bana) had a father who was a scientist for the U.S. military, dedicated to researching how to grant humanity superhuman abilities through genetic modification, aiming to create super soldiers for the military. In a desperate attempt to complete his experiments, his mad father conducted genetic experiments on the newborn Banner.
