Two years after the 'Battle of Sokovia', Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth) uncovers Loki's (played by Tom Hiddleston) disguise and eventually finds Odin (played by Anthony Hopkins), who has been exiled to Earth. However, the dying Odin informs his two sons that 'Ragnarok' has begun, and Hela (played by Cate Blanchett), the goddess of death who was imprisoned by Odin, is about to return to Asgard. In his first confrontation with Hela, Thor loses his hammer, and he and Loki are cast down to the chaotic planet Sakaar. In the arena of Sakaar, Thor reunites with the long-lost Hulk and meets Valkyrie, who has escaped Hela's grasp her entire life.
