Social worker Li Shufen (played by Rainie Yang), who has been busy handling numerous cases all day, received a report about a child abuse case. While questioning the girl's mother, Lin Meihua (played by Kao Hsuan-Ju), she suddenly got the news that her daughter Yating went missing from school in the afternoon. Flustered, Shufen checked the school surveillance and discovered that Yating left with a strange little girl in red. Who is this girl? Where are they going? Following the clues, Shufen, along with the rescue team, found a trace of Yating in an abandoned hospital in the mountains, but what they retrieved was the long-missing radio host Shen Yijun (played by Hsu Wei-Ning). With no other options, Shufen had to take the mentally unstable Yijun back home, hoping to learn about her daughter's whereabouts, but unexpectedly, she may have brought home more than just Yijun.
